- To enable the citizens of Frankston to become Global citizens by sponsoring and facilitating interaction with another culture
- Promote travel to and from Japan and promote an exchange of ideas and customs between Australia and Japan
- Ongoing community awareness by experiencing and celebrating each others culture, language and traditions through performances, displays and exhibitions
- Develop our youth through cultural exchange programs and manage student exchange programs
- Promoting and assisting development of relationships with Japanese related organisations and business (eg Australian Arrow and Yazaki)
